Open Positions & Locations
We are hiring attorneys and legal assistants in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, and New York. All positions are full-time and on site; remote work is not available.
Legal Assistant
Probationary rate: $25 per hour · After probation: $30–$45 per hour
Support case management, document preparation, and client communications under attorney supervision.
Case & Evidence Management
Organize client materials, evidence, and correspondence; build case files and timelines; and maintain electronic and paper records.
Document Preparation & Review
Assist with forms, applications, correspondence, and other documents. Check names, dates, exhibits, and formatting, and revise under attorney direction.
Client & Schedule Coordination
Schedule meetings, track requested materials and action items, and accurately record and relay client information.
Procedural Deadlines
Track filing, service, hearing, and other procedural deadlines and promptly flag upcoming milestones to the responsible attorney.
Qualifications
Work accurately and discreetly across competing priorities, while respecting the boundary between legal support and attorney judgment.
- Strong written and spoken communication in Chinese and English.
- Proficiency with common office software and careful handling of documents and data.
- Strong organization, deadline awareness, and commitment to client confidentiality.
- Prior law firm or related legal experience may be described in your application.
Attorney
Annual salary: $100,000–$300,000
Evaluate matters, conduct legal analysis, represent clients, and move cases through the applicable procedures. Candidates may focus on one or more of the firm’s practice areas.
Case Assessment & Strategy
Review facts and evidence, research applicable law, identify procedural milestones, and develop and execute case plans.
Legal Writing & Filing
Draft, review, and file applications, pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other case documents while managing deadlines.
Court Appearances & Hearings
Appear in court as cases require, attend hearings and pretrial conferences, and prepare witnesses, evidence, and trial materials.
Client Communication & Teamwork
Explain progress, options, and risks to clients; supervise legal assistants; and collaborate on matters that cross practice areas.
Qualifications
Please identify your bar admissions, principal practice areas, court experience, and Chinese-English communication skills.
- Active bar admission in the state where you would work.
- Ability to appear in court and attend hearings and other in-person proceedings as required.
- Ability to conduct legal research and writing, manage cases, and communicate with clients independently.
- Commitment to professional responsibility, confidentiality, and procedural deadlines.
